Help Shape the Future of World Heritage Day!

Blaenavon World Heritage Day has been part of the town’s calendar since 2001, bringing residents and visitors together to celebrate Blaenavon’s UNESCO World Heritage status, enjoy community activities and support local businesses.

In recent years, the event was organised by a dedicated committee of local volunteers. Unfortunately, the committee dissolved after difficulties finding people to fill key officer roles, and World Heritage Day did not take place in 2026.

Blaenavon Town Council would now like to hear your views about the future of this event.

The following short questionnaire will help the Council understand whether local people would like World Heritage Day to return and how it might be organised.
