Congratulations to everyone who took part the Mic Morris 10K!
Blaenavon Town Council extends its sincere congratulations to everyone who participated in this year’s Mic Morris 10K. With the race once again starting in Blaenavon and finishing in Pontypool, it was wonderful to see so many runners taking part and such fantastic support from the local community along the route.
The Town Council is proud to continue supporting this popular annual event and was pleased to once again provide funding towards its success. We were honoured that the Mayor of Blaenavon, Councillor Angela Lewis, officially started the race, wishing all participants the very best as they set off from Blaenavon.
We would also like to thank Councillor Mike Wheeler, who volunteered as a steward during the event, helping to ensure the race was safe and enjoyable for everyone involved.
Our thanks go to the organisers, volunteers, marshals, sponsors, emergency services and everyone who contributed to delivering another exceptionally well-organised and well-attended event. Your commitment and hard work are greatly appreciated and continue to make the Mick Morris 10K a highlight of the local sporting calendar.
Well done once again to every runner on your achievement, and thank you to everyone who played a part in making the event such a success.
