SALARY: GRADE 5 SCP - £21,166 - pro rata (£6,400pa)
HRS/WEEK: 10 HRS
WEEKS/YEAR: 52 WEEKS
CONTRACT: FIXED TERM – REVIEW AT 18 MONTHS FOR PERMANENT APPOINTMENT.
We are looking for a highly organised, enthusiastic and motivated person to join Blaenavon Town Council.
You will be required to provide high quality administrative support as directed by the Blaenavon Town Council Clerk including creating and maintaining spreadsheets, databases, typing, filing, photocopying telephone and e-mail / calendar management, along with the co-ordination of various expenditure systems and the maintenance of budgetary control information, records and systems.
As the successful candidate you will have proven experience of working within an office environment, along with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (e.g. Word, Excel) and possess a minimum of 5 GCSE’s including mathematics is essential.
